With so many remakes out there, why not these?

Freaked (1993) remake idea starring those from Rooster Teeth

I have a cult classic for those who grew up in the 1990s called, Freaked. This 1993 movie featured many well-known actors and actresses like Alex Winter, Randy Quaid, William Sadler, Megan Ward, Michael Stoyanov, Bobcat Goldthwait, Mr. T, and Brooke Shields. I've composed some images of what I think their characters would look like if Rooster Teeth reproduced this movie today...minus the low resolution of the pictures and film. It was 93 after all.

Feeling cute,

I might make more later...IDK.

This movie was poorly received at the time of its release in theatres but it really is a good movie if you were into the 90's humor. If you want a cult classic, this is it. It has a small following but I've heard of only a few who don't like it...maybe 2 people? I dunno but the humor is nuts.

A brief history to the best of my knowledge is that after pouring $13 million into this movie's creation, one of the higher-ups who made this movie saw that many people found it too weird and pulled it from theatres. I saw it on TV as a child and loved it. This movie was said to have only made $29 thousand in the box office but that was due to the movie being pulled.  It was allegedly supposed to be a horror movie from the beginning but evolved into a comedy. The horror element shows in the costumes as they were pretty authentic for its time.  It can be found in a few places and as of the writing of this page is available on YouTube for no charge.  The first part of the movie had so many jokes in it that watching it several times and some still couldn't find all of the jokes. It settles a bit once they get to their main destination in the movie. I would be thrilled to see what everyone thinks of this movie if you do go and check it out.

The original photos of the characters are owned by 20th Century Fox...uh, Disney...thinking of Disney owning this is mind-boggling. In short, I don't own the copyright to these and the altered versions were just for fun.
